Clear Sky Chart
This service is designed to serve the astronomy community by providing email to let you know when the conditions are predicted to be right to take your telescope outside and enjoy the wonders set before us. There are email formats for every device from pager or cell phone to your desktop computer complete with the 40 hour forecast.

The forecasts are provided by Canadian Meteorological Center and turned into "Clear Sky Charts" by Attilla Danko. Astronomers in North America owe a debt of gratitude to the people involved in the production of these forecasts. I merely provide a tool to keep the busy astronomer informed. If you find them useful, I encourage you to email Allan Rahill so he can provide positive feedback to his superiors whenever they inquiry as to the value of these very specific forecasts. I also encourage you to sponsor your clock.

I have found the accuracy to be simply amazing. In an effort to prevent people from being surprised by an unexpected opportunity to use your telescope, I have created this free email service. If you sign up, I will email you a notification, based on your input, when it looks like some good skies are ahead.

Feel free to check out my Privacy Policy before providing any personal information.

Part of the sign up process requires that you select a Clear Sky Chart to use as a reference. If you are not familiar with the clocks available, click here to find the clock closest to you.
